Wolne Miasto – the Free City, a development in Gdańsk, is erected on a plot of nearly 11 ha (approx. 27 acres) of a varied landscape, rich in natural mature greenery in Cedrowa Street. Inspired by the setting of seaside hills and the natural style of English landscape gardens, the Free City estate in Gdańsk offers an excellent place to live for people of all ages. The City Center of Gdańsk is a little less than 5 km (approx. 3 miles) away. It takes about 10 minutes to get from the estate to Gdańsk Główny Railway and Coach Station and 11 minutes to reach the bypass of the Tri-City.
ECO-Classic and the city of Gdańsk have signed a contract for the construction of the Nowa Olchowa Street, which will offer another access point between the Cedrowa Street and the Kartuska Street. What is more, the contract provides for a new bus line along the Nowa Olchowa Street, with a stop by the Wolne Miasto estate.
The Nowa Olchowa Street will greatly improve the comfort of living of our residents: both those who travel by car and those using public transport. The bus stop by the estate will be convenient for adults in a rush to get to work, children and teenagers commuting to school, and, in general, for anyone who wants to move around the city fast and smoothly.
Originally, the project completion and the launch of the line was planned for the end of 2018. However, due to prolonged procedure of making available the land granted for construction, the deadline has been postponed.
We present a gallery of the environment near the Free City, taken in the summer of 2011.
